I’m not sure about you, but I enjoy the wintertime. I’ve never been a “hot weather” person. Plus, I enjoy the changing of the seasons from Summer to Fall to Winter and how the days get a little shorter each passing day and the nights get a little cooler. The only problem is that, after it gets too cold, I’m stuck indoors. But this gives me ample time to catch up on the “honey-do” list and actually get a little painting done around my house.
Like the old saying goes “A shoemaker’s children go barefoot”. Well, the same is sometimes true for painters. I have a bathroom that is in dire need of attention! And the sideways looks my wife gives me when we talk about it means I probably should get to work on it.
If you have painting to be done on the interior of your home, now is one of the best times to get it done. Business usually slows down in the wintertime and getting on the schedule is pretty simple. And we can work around the holidays as well. I know that nobody wants us in their home when family is showing up for turkey dinner. But if you’re planning a getaway during the week of Thanksgiving that might be the best time for us to get in there and get it done. Then, when you arrive back home, you’ll have a freshly painted interior!
Our Painting Contractor won’t work on Thanksgiving day, of course. I like turkey too much for that! …and ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc. But we still have the rest of the week to get work done for you.
